Projects

For B.Sc. and M.Sc. Projects students can carry out projects within any of the research topics that the CSE-group deals with:

• Reinforced Glass Beams
• Tempered Glass
• XFEM
• Discrete crack models including hinge models 
• Rigid Plasticity for Reinforced Concrete structures
• General FEM

Projects can be based on different research approaches such as:

• Development of new methods and/or elements within FEM.
• Advanced modeling using commercial codes such as ABAQUS or DIANA for investigating different models and/or parameters.
• Experimental investigations for verification of suggested model.
• Combinations of the above listed approaches

Usually projects are supervised by one or two persons at (bi)-weekly meetings.
